So since I’ve decided to center my blog around college, I’ve decided to start at the beginning. So where is the beginning?? It’s a series on How to Choose a College!   1. What about accreditation? What if you want to change colleges? Do your credits transfer?

    Remember to ask students about campus safety. College is no good to you if you’re hurt.

    • Those are great ideas! I was going to do campus related things in another segment. And i was going to definitely write about safety (which is a big issue at my campus) and credit transfers (which is a pain, and i’m currently going through)!

  2. Good idea, campus crime is a big issue (one Deans and the faculty try to sweep under the rug).

    May students go to a community college because it’s cheaper, then try to apply to the big U in their hometown only to discover that some credits don’t transfer.

    Another thing to consider: does the college address student grievances fast? If you have a problem with a prof or a TA will your complaint get round filed or will it get revolved?
